Making Your Bedroom Comfortable
A person’s bedroom is often the most private room in the house but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t accentuate your personal style and taste.
Your bedroom should be calming and inviting. It is often a place you go to relax and escape the stress of the rest of the home.
Rather than using chemical sprays and air fresheners to provide a sweet smell, open the windows and allow fresh air to permeate the room. This allows for a more natural smell that is both calming and refreshing.
Choose bedding that suits your style. You spend close to one third of your life in your bedroom so it should be comfortable and likeable. Who wants to go into a room with a décor they don’t like.
If you spend a lot of time in your bedroom aside from sleeping think about having a few extra items such as a stereo and television. This will allow you to relax in your room while watching your favorite show or listening to your favorite music.
Don’t use your bedroom for storage. Having excess boxes and junk sitting around not only clutters the room but also makes it feel cramped. This can cause you not to want to be in the room any more than necessary.
